Went to the 2014 National Championship game (3 years ago today) in Pasedena. Greatest game I've ever been to.

    10835370_10204130403515000_4212400051590647530_o.jpg

Didn't do much though as I was in late the night before and out by 6 the next morning.

Went and checked out the concert thing that went on outside, should be one there. Ours was Jake Owen (FSU dropout). Mainly just took in everything I could since it was at the Rose Bowl and that was always a dream for me to visit. I had friends that did the alumni tailgate and said it was worth every dollar.

Tip: Buy a lanyard to hold your ticket, it's the only way to keep it safe during the game. I'm having mine framed with a panorama of the game that's from the section I sat in.

Are you in Tampa for any extra time? My gf parent's live just north of it on the water, so we're in that area a decent amount. Can throw out some stuff to do outside of the NC game, if you have extra time...

Seriously, the kid just wants to feel valued where ever he goes. Doesn't exactly give you that feeling when they can't even get your name right.

    Exactly. And, he's what, a 5star?

A whole lot of programs out there are willing to take the time to make sure the spelling is correct to get him in their jersey.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Agreed. The kid had every right to be angry at the school. But, I would imagine that it was some student at the bottom of the pole that sent all these out and was in a rush. Again, higher ups should have seen it before it went out.

Further explanation is needed on your post. Because they use students in the marketing and sports departments to help do the recruitment stuff, you call it a business?

That's all north of where I live, and WAY north of Florida

plus the ground is still too warm in most of SC for anything to stick...and it's only going to MAYBE produce 3" just north of me...AND it's going to be in the 50s the following day which is when I'm leaving...soo no worries

Yes, I think the way it is run is indeed a business. Big business. Why do you think schools pay coaches 4 to 5 million a year plus bonuses. Why is "official" merchandise so much more expensive than they are worth. Maybe the coaches have so much pressure and travel so much recruiting that communication gets lost along the line somewhere.

Maybe I'm a little biased here because I'm a PSU fan....but Rose Bowl > National Championship. Was a great game and I think more people were anticipating it than they are national championship.

Either way, I think Clemson squeaks out a win this year.

Sorry, if my team wasn't playing in either and I was offered a free ticket to the NCG or the Rose Bowl...I'm not going to the Rose Bowl
