This is what happens when situations aren't handled correctly to begin with. It snowballs into bunches of money being spent for nothing, and a he said/she said pissing contest and now everyone looks guilty instead of the actual guilty person, whomever that may be. That is to say, if Kinsmen is a cleat chasing money pit, well, it worked. She looks guilty of that, the school looks guilty of a cover up or improper procedures, and the lawyers look like, well, lawyers.

If handled correctly from the beginning, much less money would have been spent, the school would look like they take care of business, and don't put up with sexual assault, Jameis would be cleared of wrong doing or convicted of it, and Kinsmen would either be a cleat chaser, or a rape victim. Now, its all just up in the air. Who knows.

I normally don't follow NSD that closely but this year is different. I'm pretty stoked over what I've heard so far, providing these kids follow through with their commitments. Plus I've heard there may be some surprises also. Could be the best class we've ever had.

    Go Dawgs!

Hey Oregon, where are you gathering your intel? I'm trying to keep up on todays recruit news and we're waiting anxiously for my son's own NLI to arrive via email. Coach said it will arrive either tonight or first thing in the morning. This waiting sucks!!

UPDATE: D1 Football NCAA Full Ride Scholarship NLI received!! Can't wait for signing day tomorrow!

I'm president of a small two-year private college - total enrollment of about 1400 students and play D1 NJCAA football. We had 30 players sign LOI either at mid-year or this morning - 19 going to D1 programs. 3 went to OSU alone. We've had tremendous success for a small school - last year we had two former players selected in the NFL Draft (Kevin White who was selected by the Bears as the 7th pick in Round 1, and Mark Glowinski who was picked in the 4th round by the Seahawks - both of them went to WVU from our program). We work hard on the academic aspects as well as the athletics - and our results show it.

Need newer uniforms, start swapping them at halftime instead of every game

Unfortunately, missed out on the #1 ILB (signed with Bama), but Kirby's first class is lookin good!

I was disappointed with where I was seeing Bama over the past weeks but whew boy are we makin' a move today! Still need a couple of key pieces but I don't see anyone jumping over Ole Miss after the start they've had today. Gonna be a 4 headed race for #1, FSU, OSU, Bama, Ole Miss...RMFT!
