Today is the one day of the year that makes me wish I followed recruiting a little bit. I'm completely lost when I listen to sports radio today.

Still, I think my decision to not obsess over where a bunch of kids will go to school probably benefits me more in the long run.

Hope Bama ends up with a top-5 class. I hear that #1 is likely out of our reach this year. I guess 5 in a row will have to do.

 

We've gotten everybody on our board but Jamel Cook and Trayvon Mullen so far. Been a great day.

If we can pull in Kongbo I think FSU may stay the top ranked class, otherwise probably 3rd-4th

 

I don't pay any attention to recruiting. I think it's kind of creepy. But this came across my feed today and I thought it was funny.

They would have had a much better opportunity staying in the Big 12...I'm sure they knew that and still chose to leave.

 

I still believe it's still about the whole Longhorn Network debate thing. UT offered to share the network but they're too stuck up IMO. Therefor they ran to the SEC to attempt to get more recruiting power. It seems to have worked well...

Well, little did they know that UT would implode and the Texas recruits would come there or elsewhere anyhow. Its hard to recruit in the SEC if you don't have a blockbuster coach. Even then it's hard. Also, the Longhorn Network being shared only makes sense if it isn't called the "Longhorn Network"....

 

Well yeah it wasn't originally called the Longhorn network. I go to TTU so it isn't my beef anyhow. I feel like UT was bound to fall down hill after the Colt McCoy area anyway. They have good defensive and running back recruits but can't seem to capitalize on the talent.
