I'm pretty high on ole miss, a lot of people on here aren't. I picked them to beat the crap out of FSU and it looked to be right before they threw the game in the second half.

Given the last two years have gone their way, I still feel like they're overlooked. After watching LSU struggle, it could very well be the hardest game they have pending the results we see between UT and Georgia/Florida.

 

Tough game, yes... Trap game, no.

I imagine the team will be as up for this game as any we play this year. Ole Miss is the only team to have won back to back games against Saban. They won't get overlooked.

 

I think it comes down to the QB battle. Both defenses look good. Except I'm not sure to the extent Ole Miss was banged up. Edge goes to Bama but Hurts needs to have another good showing with either his arm or his legs because if they become one dimensional it could get shut down completely by the Miss defense

National championship winner comes out of the big ten or acc this year. I can't see how Clemson is ahead of ohio state in the coaches poll.

 

There's a good chance with Michigan, Ohio state, Clemson, and FSU. I'm excited to see Ohio state and Oklahoma this weekend. I feel like Michigan is the team to beat in that conference though. Ohio state just lost too many starters

Dammit, you're right. Not sure where I heard the other thing, but I know I did. I was mistaken and didn't look into it enough. A thousand apologies!

Maybe in my head I let the 2011 national championship win erase the regular season loss in 2011? Who knows.

 

The Battle at Bristol was an amazing experience. Sure the site lines weren't as good as they are at an actual football stadium, but the massive jumbotron made up for that.
I'm sure if your team of choice was a part of something like this you would just want to be there, like us Vols and Hokies were.
It was different, but it was done top notch!!! I prefer Neyland Stadium, but glad I was a part of this gimmick!!!!

 

1. Bringing up legal issues from seasons past, multiple seasons at that, with players that aren't even on the team anymore is lame.
2. "Breaking a record" of attendance at a cfb game, is quite irrelevant, even before adding in that it wasn't even at a college football stadium. Cheap record at best. Needs an asterisk.
3. Comparing poor performances of separate schools vs. different opponents is silly.
4. Troy isn't bad. At all.
5. Should UTenn and UGA have "crushed" their opponents. Yes. Its early.
6. Is the SEC down? Looks that way right now. Also may be a bit of power shifting going on. UF is looking better, UTenn pulled one out, LSU is down and Ole Miss is up. The only way to tell if the SEC is down is with the performance in the bowls...Right? I mean, if the SEC has more teams in the bowls than other conferences, and then more wins, I would say the SEC isn't down. Just a power shift.
7. Alabama has some issues. Hopefully, this week will clean up some of the mental errors. Saban went full Saban.
8. UGA

 

That is exactly right. And, their coaching staff is nothing to sneeze at either.

 

I'm still at a loss as to why credit is being given to Troy but not App State?
