2016 OEM Hood Deflector install question

Ok I searched to no avail....

I just acquired an oem bug shield. I know most people have the AVS ones on here...
The oem one requires some sticky plastic squares and 3 rubber bumpers to attach to the hood. I'm wondering if this sticky tape will potentially damage my paint?
Does anyone have experience with installing the OEM bug shield??

No it won't. Usually they give you tape when a bracket clips to the hood for mounting purposes. This is to protect the bracket from rubbing through the paint
