This was at 2.9" measurement after sag. Settled at about 2.75" of lift still rides like a dream..no sag
No sag from rear either. Was hoping it would so I could lower the front just a hair.
    No complaints..just being picky.

Did your front ride get a lot stiffer after the 2.9”? I love the smooth/cloud feeling ride from the FOx 2.5 but after lifting I know thats gonna change a lot.

^ did not change at all...I can't remember what was it like before but I can tell you that the truck rides PERFECT. I've had a lot of comments thrown my way about how good she rides. The back is a little bit stiffer but that's from the add a leaf with overload. Wouldn't change anything though.

4x4 Source over here off Blanco and West.
BUT..I heard they just recently closed down.
A good buddy of mine just got his jeep worked on at Bikini off road. I'm not familiar with them but he gave them good reps.
Too bad cause 4x4 Source did some good work and they were very very busy.
They may be reopening under a different name..owner was Josh something. Some research may point you in the right new direction.

    Nice truck.

Something dont make sense to me, tho...

3” front lift and aal w/ overload (2.0” rear lift) would not have rake like this:

    CD720CD5-FAE2-4777-AD72-D7ED721DACE9.jpg

Your rear looks about 1” higher than the front. Which means that you lifted the truck the same height in front and rear.

The aal with overload only adds 2.0”, so did you only lift the front 2” in the above pic?

    Or

Did you lift the front 3” and added something else to the aal to get 3” in the rear?

I say this because the the aal with overlod only adds 2.0” of lift.

I think you stance looks great as is, tho.

It's the pic. It has the illusion of more rake than what really is. But that's the 'first' stance before I went back and tuned the height more. You're right..the HS aal adds 2" in the rear to make it 24" hub to fender.
Take a look at the other pics.
The one above is before I readjusted the coilovers and cranked them up slightly more. The 3 leaf aal in the rear from headstrong makes it very difficult to level out with the og fox 600# springs if you keep the overload in. Once the front sags a bit in a month or so you will need to readjust. The truck is actually perfectly level now with the coilovers at 2.9" of thread showing. AND..with a perfectly perfectly plush ride..street or dirt.
    About 23.80" front, 24 rear.
CV's are trouble free. 17k miles.

The first 3 pics in my OP are the most recent..
    This is leveled out:

it's all in the thread...just gotta read through it.

You are right, pics can be a little misleading. I just lifted my front 2” and for the rear, I am deciding whether i should leave the overload or not. I want the rake you have on the picture I quoted of you.

If you decide to leave the overload in, it rides real nice of course using the correct rear extended shocks.
One thing you can do is use the 14" springs instead of the 13" to easily raise the front to match the rear with out cranking up the front coilovers as much.
Ride doesn't suffer with the extra preload, you just lose a small bit of travel. Not a big deal for me since I use my truck very lightly off road, no crawling, but more high speed on and off road. Again, rides like a dream. At this point I'm not going to swap springs because I'd rather not chance losing any of the ride quality I have at this time. Just some extra info.

OP, thanks for posting this build/setup. I installed the headstrong stage 2 fox kit in my truck as well. And ran into the same rake issues you had. So this thread helped me a lot. I'm giving the springs a month to settle, then see if I need to crank pre-load to closer to 2.9 inches like you did......I think my rear rake is closer to 1.8 inches at this point but it's not bothering me too much.
