Since the 2018's offer the power sliding rear window, I am wondering if anyone knows how to get it installed in the 2016 is it possible?

I have a theory. Convince a total stranger to total the 2016 in a dramatic accident, preferably one where they fly 40 feet through the air into parked cars. Next, buy 2018 with insurance payout and enjoy the rear window.

Considering that the back seat and window have to be taken out and wiring from the dash all the way back there somehow run, it’d be far easier and less stressful to train a cat to open it for you.

Power sliding rear window available on 2017, there was a post by a guy w a quick sand 2016 that bought the parts and installed it himself. Forgot his screen name. You can probably do a search and find the thread.

I’ve had my truck about 3 months now, and I have only used my power rear sliding window one time, the day I bought the truck and was getting shown the options.

Use mine all the time. Love having both the sun roof & the rear window fully opened w all side windows closed; creates the perfect draft.

Use my back window frequently but have a bad habit of sometimes forgetting its open when I get out of the truck.

I actually would like to know this as well. My center window just broke. actually was wondering if the 05-15 center window would fit.

All of my trucks have been access cabs with manual sliding rear windows. My wife has her Yoga routine, and I have mine when I reach back to open the sliders. :D

I use mine every single time I drive. It's a nice way to get some air flow without deafening yourself or blasting yourself with air. Open back window and passenger rear window some and its perfect.

I do this all the time unfortunately. I do have a cap so it's somewhat protected. Closing all windows is usually part of my post flight checklist.

yeah, it's a lot more covered with your cap. I know on the days I did open mine, I'd just jump
out and then 30 min. later run back out thinking.....ohfuk my window!!! :D

I ended up leaving it open all night 4 or 5 times, thankfully it did not rain those days.
