    I think the black looks better than the color match. Some guy tapped my truck from behind and my insurance replaced the original bumper with the one I wanted at no cost to me.

    Get some bathroom or toilet bowl cleaner, fill a small basin tub and let those chrome pieces sit in it for a few hours or even overnight. The plastic chrome falls off and they look like an opaque yellowish color. A simple prep by the body shop and they are just as ready for paint as a brand new pair from toyota.

    Did you sand by hand or with an electric sander? I painted mine with the duplicolor cans and the clear coat got pretty screwed up thinking of re doing it just thought an electric sander might help.
