Looks like the 2016 has 4-leafs in the rear.

I noticed that as well. Hopefully it has a better spring rate the current gen Tacomas

Looks like 3+1 (the fourth is an overload).

They did mention all new spring rates for the 2016.

I wonder if it's the same 4-leaf pack they're using in TSB? There's an auto show here this weekend. Wonder if they'll have a 2016. I want to see if my air bags would swap over.

    4 leaf is better than 3... (A 3 leaf is 2 + overload)

I was really hoping for a multi-link + progressive coils like the 09+ RAMs. As soon as I saw that the frame and bed hadn't changed though, I knew we were in for more of the same.

I have the 3+1 TSB leafs on my Tacoma, btw. While they hold a load decently, they ride really rough unless I've got something in the back.

Well not identical, in the Q&A they said all the spring rates changed for the new model. So we know that is different. But of course it doesn't take much to change a spring rate and so as far as the rear leafs go they could be nearly the same design, with the same manufacturer and with the same crappy performance as the old ones even if they were slightly redesigned for a new spring rate.

They should have used full size truck spring lengths. How long have leaf springs been used and Toyota still can't get it right? Or followed suit with Ram and used coils....
