That's not a great sign, I thought you knew the answer there. I'm wondering if it would cover all the permits and what not that might be needed to cross all the different areas on the route up there.

The gov't website claims the $80 pass covers use of National Parks, USFS, BLM, Fish & Wildlife and Bureau of Reclamation for a year, but I get suspicious whenever our government claims anything they do is that simple and straightforward.

I've had the pass for going on four years. While I've never had an issue with anywhere not accepting it, the way I interpret the daily pass situation is that the agencies want to keep a count of users, and also have some kind of control over the number of users. So I strongly doubt the inter-agency pass would work in this situation, since it only covers entrance and some use fees, not count-restriction passes (which, btw, are free).
Now, I don't know for sure. This is just the way I interpret the reasoning behind daily passes. I'm kinda hoping a local can confirm or correct this interpretation.

My plan anyway is to buy the overnight permits needed. That will cover all remaining access the inter-agency pass doesn't. I'm just waiting a few more days for the four-month window to open...and hoping others don't beat me to it!

the park pass does not cover the permit requirement for elephant hill as well as the restrictions in white rim...park entrance is in addition to the permit and vise versa

best bet for advance permit is the overnight permit..that way you don't have to worry about the 24hr window to obtain the permit...and yes the day use permits are free, just a pain to obtain if you're coming in from the backcountry

Does anybody have an idea of what trails they want to run and when? If u have a plan and are willing post up!

I'm looking for someone who has ran top of the world for friday.... still haven't ran that and want to. If not... I'll be throwing my ring in the hat to lead a run up cliff hanger. I liked that trail a few years ago.

@BeeRadd and I will be sponsoring an Anti-Dark run to TOTW. We haven't yet picked a day, but it's happening for sure.

No Cliff Hanger for me this year. The super Tundy doesn't have a locker yet. Kinda need one for the ledge out of the creek. I love that trail though. I might be game for a ride-a-long as I might be tired of driving by then.

TOTW will happen for me this year. Most likely on Friday too. I know that Phil @PS78 and Nick @bigfella13 want to run it. I have not run it yet. So IT WILL HAPPEN THIS YEAR! :D
