I ran TOTW without my locker engaged at all last year... hell a pre-runner did it (damn impressive) just go slow and take your time... it ate at least one diff, a LCA, and at least two drive lines last year from people in a hurry

On Saturday it has to be a quick run for me. We have to set everything up back at camp. Hells Revenge can take a while if the group is large or the trail is crowded. And it being a Saturday I would bet on crowded trail unless we got their super early.

I'd like to check out Steel Bender, Flat Iron Mesa, Cliffhanger, and Trifecta (or any portion of it) as far as harder trails go.

I'd also like to spend one day doing something more laid back and scenic, and my research/reading has brought Dome Plateau, Lathrop Canyon, Chicken Corners, and Long Canyon to the top of my list.

Does anyone have a good resource for checking snow depths in the La Sals? I've always wanted to complete the loop up Geyser and La Sal passes, but I got stopped by deep snow on Geyser pass a few years back during RT.

I hit some trials off the LaSal loop road a few years back that were quite interesting. Also got stopped by snow however. That area seems to get overlooked. Also nice to get away for the heat.

Not sure what I want to hit this year. Not a lot of the 'main' trails that I haven't done at this point. Flat Iron sounds cool. Also would like to check out Hey Joe Canyon. Don't hear much of anything on that trail.

Hey Joe is a narrow tract that runs along the green rive to a mine at the end. I ran it on an ATV and don't remember anything too difficult on the trail. It has a very long drive on a dirt road to get to the bottom of the canyon. The views on that dirt road, along with the drop-off are worth it.

Went out to a point overlooking that canyon on our new year's trip. Looked like a cool spot to explore.
