I like the off color. If you're gonna get a different color, get black. It shows:

    A. You don't give a F
    B. You'll party at the drop of a hat
    C. You'll quit your job and live on the road out of your truck no questions asked

It is an Action brand cap, made by ARE, and apparently same as the V series, if my memory serves right.

I have the Leer 100XR on my 2016. Fits perfectly and the color match is almost 100%.

I drove around with my new shell today and wow... what a different feel between ranch and leer. Leer (if you look at pics above) is slanted... my eyes are soooo used to that on my 08 tacoma. Ranch is vertical which actually gives it more cargo room but it is so confusing to the eyes though. You look at the shell and it just throws you off the thing you are used to seeing.

Just received my new A.R.E CX HD shell with Rhino Liner coating. It looks sweet! The rack comes with a reinforced aluminum frame inside, rated at 500lb. or so. One bummer about the rack is the height. It is flush with the plastic shark fin antenna. The height isn't adjustable, so ARE is "working on it." Also the stock bars are 4', Too short IMO. I thought I had more pics at the ready, next time.

Can you please provide more details and pictures of the latch that enables you to lock from inside? I have a leer 100xr, and want to know if there is a feature I missed or overlooked.
    Thanks in advance.

I honestly did not specifically choose this shell. Having drove around with leer (to which I was powersold to) I had a lot of time to think about stuff and things like every single selling point being absolutely irrelevant to actual ownership of the shell and actual use of the shell in any capacity. And so this time around my goal was to have a cost effective function over form shell. I actually plan to record a video of the shell for my youtube channel and I will post it here for posterity.

I have a leer 700 fiberglass tonneau cover thing, SB, and painted white to match. How much is this thing worth? And any idea on how much I might receive selling it to a camper too store?

It's the 'Keyless Entry' system. It's programmed to lock/unlock with your doors. When inside you can lock with door lock button and there's a lever on the inside to easily open it late at night for potty breaks. When looking and discussing exactly what type of top we wanted, they showed me the Leer 100XR that had the installed Keyless Entry. They never specified that it was an 'Add On', so when we first got our top on, it had the standard latch/lock. Their error. But we finally got it installed as soon as it arrived. LOVE IT! I'll post some pics when in the daytime.

Picked up my Leer 100XR last week. Got the headliner, front slider, keyless entry, and Thule tracks - will buy the racks later. Total cost was $2,250 out the door. IMG_5203.jpg

please do this! But I'd also be happy with more pics too. I want to see how much space the internal frame takes up, close up of the fit between the cap, etc.
