    I was told that if it's not installed at the factory then warranty is voided if installed after the fact. If you choose to install yourself then warranty is voided and the installer/dealer said that if it's installed by then it also voided the original LEER warranty.

    So I told my dealer.... screw it just install it then.

    Also typically with their package deal, the price seamed reasonable to have it done , so I went ahead and had it installed

    I was told if you install items in the honeycomb roof of a shell, warrenty is not voided. Is that true

    Only if you or dealer installs it. If done at the factory then you still keep your warranty.

    I bought the full rack from Leer. If I were to do it again, I would just have them install the rails and I would pickup the feet and bars myself.

    Cool, they looked like they were on a rod or something. Looks good. Do you like the light out put in that location? I ran my LED strips on the roof.

    Just ordered my topper for my quicksand off road! Should be here in a few weeks. Leer 100xr, sliding windoors, front removable slider, roof tracks only, black carpet, and keyless entry for the back to go along with my tailgate pop and lock.

    I have a question for anyone with a Leer 100xq. My rear door doesn't open past horizontal. That is to say when fully open if you were to look at the truck from the side the rear door would be slanted down. My last cap (leer legend) on my 1st gen opened way up past horizontal.

    I bought this 100xq used, and I can't force the door open any further, but I'm wondering if the shocks were replaced with a shorter pair limiting the amount the rear door can open. Or maybe that's just how the 100xq is designed.

    pop one end of the shocks off and see if it opens farther...pretty easy just have to slide the clip over.
