Just taking a wild guess here, but maybe whatever Leer factory (there's two on the east coast and one in California) serves your part of the country isn't making them yet. They are definitely coming out of the California plant.

We're heavily in the market for a top right now since my son is moving to ID for college. Initially was going for ARE, but now leaning toward LEER or Snugtop. We have till Aug so I'll wait a couple more months and watch the cream rise to the top. They all look great but want to make sure we get the best bang for our buck (fit and customer service). Keep posting pics and experiences folks!!

I was originally going after a ARE Outland (V series with fancy paint scheme.)
But I did a lot of reading and talking with dealers of ARE, and Snugtop.
Then I made my lists of pros, cons, AND priorities. Ended up with the Snugtop Rebel.
I'm not one to go on about this is better than that.
My decision was based on MY conclusions combined with my needs and priorities. After all, it's an object of utility. Yes, personal esthetics and opinions do hold a place, but those are privy to me.
Hats off to anyone that makes a decision for themselves.

I like the snugtop, but I find the cap comes down over the emblems on the bed too far...

Yea I'm glad I went with the sliding windoors on my topper. Those windows don't crack open enough for me to be comfortable having my dog back there. With leer sliding windoors I can open 1/4 of the window on both sides to vent or just open the windoors completely for plenty of air. I've driven around town and gone up to 60 mph with them completely open with no issues or movement from air speed. But I know everyone's situation is different and it just depends on your needs. My dog doesn't get to come into the cab bc too much fur! Lol and if I was worried about her jumping out I wouldn't be able to leave windoors open while moving. It's nice to have options though.

Not sure why that is but like anything I would go to your local dealer and see what they have to say. My dealer here in Montana had leer Xr 3-4 weeks out and I'm very happy with it! Not sure what plant it came from but I will check my invoice.

Totally depends on where they put the stickers. I was worried about this, and thought that I might have to peel off the originals and put on a new set a bit lower. However, I waited until the topper went on and it was totally fine. The installer said the heights are all over the place from truck to truck. He also said that sometimes the height varies on the same truck so that one sticker would be fine, but the other one would be a bit covered.

That looks great and a very nice set up for you and your best friend! Waiting patiently for my XR with dual sliding win-doors but thanks also for settling my other dilemma. I'm getting a dog!

Worst case scenario is that you have to buy new stickers. Someone mentioned in a different thread that they are about $70 from the dealer.
