Our snugtop Hi-Liner Sport was about 2500 OTD installed.
Fold down slider front window, oversized side windows with removeable slide out screens, keyless entry, yakima tracks, headliner.
They had a sale going but I would think you would get close to that price if you shop around. The 2 snugtop dealers here were not even close on price.

I shopped 2 Leer dealers, approx. 1 hour from home, in different directions. For the same shell, with the same options, there was $389 difference. This was the adjusted difference, after they told me a short bed cap was too short for a Leer Locker. Had the locker been included, I would have saved over $500.

U.S. Truck Accessories in Searcy, Arkansas got my business. Will post pics when it comes in.......

I put my deposit down on a leer 100R today. I feel like I got a decent price. $1540 after tax and installation with front slider, pet screens and headliner.

Just got it put on this morning. Leer 100XR. Only thing that I don't like, was the fact that I couldn't get the Leer Locker in the short bed cap. Oh well, can't win 'em all.......

Been looking around craigslist for a while for a used cap for my 3rd gen. I wanted to get one for my dog since my two boys occupies the back seat and he wont fit along with them plus I like to leave stuff on my truck bed & not worry about them in between travel stops. Used shells in craigslist is pretty scarce for 3rd gens and I went to a local Snugtop dealer & was quoted $2400.
I found a used Snugtop in San Diego for $850 in Blazing Blue color & drove 2 hours to pick it up, drove 1 1/2 hours to Ontario to drop it offf for a paint job for $300. Paint matching is good enough I would say about 90-95%. I guess I get what a pay for since I looked around for the cheapest possible.
All together the cap cost me $1150, price is good enough I guess compared to buying it new.IMG_0980.PNG.jpgIMG_0979.PNG.jpg

Another good thing about Line-Xing a cap is you don't have to bother waxing it.

Did you keep your suspension the same height 1.75 and 1 inch rear block after camper shell ? Great choice in new wheels/tires.

    Looks good!

How do you like the 100R? Any leaks or things to look out for before getting it installed?

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on one soon, actually a Raider Vagabond which seems to be the same thing from what I've researched. I'm leaning toward the framed rear glass style of the 100R rather than the all glass rear

I like the 100R. I couldn't justify the price difference just to get the auto lock.

I put some silicon at the ends of the bed rail near the cab to prevent it from leaking there. It has rained pretty good today and no leaks at far as I can tell.

At the end of the day, the cheaper cap does exactly what i need it to.

Right on, good to hear. I will try get that area all sealed up before I bring it to be installed as well to avoid leaks in that area

Well said, so long as it keeps the gear somewhat dry I'm fine with the twisting a couple tee handles to pop the rear

Predator strikeforce, can I ask what you paid for your ARE? I'm about to buy one and they retail for $4000 here. Seems a little steep. Thanks!
