2016 Silver Tacoma TRD Off-road Lifted

I will probably never have this truck off-road....so the spacer lift for me was sufficient....if you plan on doing some heavy duty off-roading you should invest in a better lift.....the kit came with rear shocks so that helped. Honestly it rides great....better than I thought it would. I had the stock tires on for a week before I got the ST Maxx and literally no difference in ride....

 

Would you mind measuring the height of those st maxx for me? They look fantastic! I have the same size in a K02 and they're small

 

With 35lbs in each tire.... Just under 32"

So the spacers are a worse alternative to adding 5100s instead?

 

yes and no, depends on what setting your going to run the 5100's at.

 

I'd like a 3" lift. Not sure what setting that is on the 5100s

 

Then your going to want to pair it with a set of coils as well, like OME 887 or 888's not sure what everyone is running on the 3rd gens.

 

Are you running 1.25 spidertrax spacers for all 4 wheels or just the fronts ?

If your not planning on doing hardcore off-roading and want to keep your lift economical, take a look at the Rough Country lift. It's a spacer in the front and in the rear it's a spacer and a new shock....it's great for the money!

 

The OME lifts are $$$$.

 

I'm less then $800 in my OME setup. I did use a block for the rear since I didn't want to lift that much.

 

I'm in $250.00 with my setup....and $200.00 for Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers....and $1100.00 for Cooper STMaxx 285/75/16.

 

You get what you pay for...just saying. Also you could do 5100's with OME springs as I alluded to for less than $600.

 

So that setup would give about a 3" lift?

looks awesome!! Id like to do spacer in my new Pro. Nobody makes one yet for it. Sucks. I had one in my 2010 and had no issues at all. Rode great.
