The vibration in the gas pedal/steering wheel on acceleration and deceleration is a known issue (with no fix yet). Many folks have different ideas on cause but nothing definitive yet and no resolution provided by Toyota.

After a full evaluation at toyota, could not find anything. I need to find if there is a pattern to what I'm feeling, then let them know. In the meantime I have reduced the tire pressure to 29 PSI cold as an experiment

I have this too and my truck is in the shop. My rear diff has failed at 500 miles and Toyota said they think this is related. A Toyota engineer is going to the dealership next week to see what is going on. In the meantime, they are tight lipped and not sharing much info :(

Hmmm. I don't have this on my SR5. No issues at all.

After reducing the tire pressure to 29 cold, no more vibration at low speeds.... possible that I was just feeling the road more than usual with higher pressure...

So you finally set the tire pressure to where Toyota said it should be and the issue went away...

That's good... a win all around....!!

Let my buddy drive my TRD OR DCSB 4x4 auto and he pointed out steering wheel vibration that appears pretty constant at freeway speeds...he normally drives a 2007 ford f150. I never noticed it until he showed me. Now I can't help but notice it all of the time. It's a fairly slight but constant hum in the steering wheel that I can feel with my hands. I'd take it to the dealer but figure I'll get the same old song and dance "it's normal"

Found a vibration coming to a stop from 20 to a red light for example. I will have the rotors checked for warpage soon!

I had/have the same vibration when coming to a stop, While it may be the rotors, after I greased the zerks it did dampen the vibration quite a bit. Give it a try since it's cheaper then replacing brakes and a quick job.

Over 1000 miles now, vibration seems to have dissipated.

No such vibration on my SR5, 17” tires running @41psi (44psi max load press inflation).
But if it was me, I would check all wheel lugs for over or uneven-tightening.
Then I’d observe if it’s coming thru the brake pedal and then to the steering wheel. If so, I’d look for an out of round or warped front brake rotor/over torqued wheel lugs (more likely on alloys).
If the vibration comes thru the steering wheel w/o applying the brakes, I’d look for a belt separation which would feel more like a wobble on steering if front tire, or seat if rear tire.
    Good luck.
