Anybody had this problem yet? I've tried everything. Truck has never even been in 4wd and has 3000 miles.

That's a common problem on 2nd gens. Figured yoda would have fixed by now. You can manually shift the T-case if you are in a pinch, just unbolt the actuator and slide the shaft to the outermost position (2hi). Make sure you are doing it right, look on the visor for instructions. It's also in you manual. Must go to 4hi, then to 2hi. If it's blinkin' it's thinkin'. Rock back and forth to unbind the drivetrain.

You are in neutral? Try backing very slowly (1 mph) in a straight line. As mentioned if its blinking its thinking!

You are going from 4lo to 4hi correct? Not 4lo to 2hi?

Hmm...try putting the selector back to 4lo driving straight forward for a bit, 100yds or so, then retry shifting out.

With the selector in 4lo and still it just blinks? I think it's probably time to call the dealer.
Sorry I couldn't help you more.:(

Is it actually in low gear? You'd only be able to do about 40mph if it was. If it's not physically in low gear, put it back in 4hi and drive around till the light goes solid, then switch to 2hi. Does the 2016 still have the card in the visor? Most people never read it. Toyota4WDCard_eefd8cd716d5ab9db3346f19c9f349a7e6b80cd2.jpg
