So with the addition of more forums, are you guys expecting a much larger and diverse group than last years already big group? I really want to do a trip around may/june this year but I also know crowds are not always my cup of tea.

Are trail runs basically bumper to bumper, inch by inch the whole time?

last year there was a ton of people, but i never felt "crowded" at camp or anything like that, its nice to have more rigs to check out and such. bfe is such a huge area. you dont have to run trails with groups.

i do not expect a large growth this year..i imagine the majority of the attendees will be from TW as the past years have been. the FJs have FJ Summit which most people save up for... Land Cruisers have Cruise Moab.. Tacomas and 4Runners don't really have a pilgrimage and where Rock Therapy comes in...so our main push is with TW and T4R..

camp usually isn't too crowded as said above, but there's close camping options nearby that i can point you in a good direction if you wanted to have some separation from the crowd...

trails usually are kept to 10 or less for permit reasons and to make it easier for trail leaders to manage. the exceptions are hells revenge and fins and things where sand flats allows larger groups...

there's many options around the area to get away from all crowds if you wanted to explore some cool areas...those are the areas i tend to migrate toward in the recent years of wheeling in the area..there's so much to see there outside of the popular trails...

if you make it down for RT you can get the best of both worlds though...stop by camp to see everyone and retreat to an outside camp for some quiet time...hit up a trail with some more rigs on the popular trails or bug out in a small group or solo to explore more off-the-beaten trail areas

    That's good to know.

Thanks for the feedback I might have to do just that. Camp a bit away and join in occasionally for some fun.

I am not entirely sure Ash would be coming to this if I go. He doesn't get along with all dogs and I would hate for him to be cooped up in the truck or on a tight lead the whole time.

If I go, and Jason goes, I am sure we would meet up on the way

RT is like BK. Have it your way.

The camping area is big enough that you can find a spot away from it all. Or camp where there is always something happening.
You call tell by the sign-up sheet how big a trail run will be. Or make friends with a couple of guys with similar rigs and run a quite one.

I will say, wheeling with guys that you see on the interweave is a cracking good good time;)

Pro tip: don't camp near the guy who brings a Jeep. Everyone wants to talk shit with him. Loudly. At 3am.
