You bet... powder, winch combos, just like our other mounts.

We shall know where we stand by tomorrow afternoon.

Raw hawse prototype in hand, checking clearances before placing in to production. One will come with every 2016+ bumper. You can see how much larger an opening it has than an average hawse. Will still work with most other bumpers without the rope contacting the steel winch tub.

Probably going to use our Teflon powder coat on these then laser etch our logo on the narrow side. Should look nice.

I'm definitely in, please let me know asap when they are available. Will also be needing solenoid bracket. Thanks again for the winch, came on Wednesday, just setting in a box on garage floor waiting on a bumper :bananadance:

Ok... here's a few. I've had a killer week, I'm tired, my stinkin' back is done but I promised so here ya go.

We had the best test fit session I've ever had, everything was on the money. We are adding some length to the optional solenoid box relocation bracket but beyond that it was perfection.

First few are with a raw (tumbled hawse), Factor55 ProLink (I'd go with a Flat Link) and some matching green shackles... mostly for contrast. Yes, the light was lousy so the pics are lacking. Also, keep in mind that we were using a painted chin piece, most are the black plastic.

Next is more subtle with black shackles and hawse and the default Mean Mother hook.

A few Mean Mother winch pics in just the tub. Gotta side mount or use our bracket.

So that gives you some quick shots. It's a REALLY easy installation, very incognito if you want with black skid/shackles/hawse you barely notice it or you can go with colors and make things stand out more.

The skid is super solid and will really take a serious beating, everything works well together and overall we are VERY happy with the final result.

Pricing will hold at $499 bare, add $150 for powder coat....I'll be working on combo kits and options this next week and release it for a preorder list by the end of next week.

Oh... here's one with the box on our mount. Mean Mother will let you mount the box over the center or the motor and comes with it's own brackets....some other winches are like that as well but if not we will offer a bracket to help with that as seen here.

Ok.. for those of you (like us here in Texas) that need a front license plate mount what about something like this. Remember it's a bit of a custom piece with the angles we are dealing with.

You can slide the plate up and down on it's own plate, either help cover the hawse or completely expose it and get it up and out of the way some. Would be make out of 10ga steel, .135" thick.

It would be an option. We prefer to keep it simple and easy to install.

    Thoughts?

I'm working on install docs today. Waiting on a few details to pass from CAD to the shop. I'll probably start a pre-buy list on Friday so we can get an initial head count. Yes, we'll do some sort of special pricing for TW members...

Would this be compatible with aftermarket front skids? I have an RCI front steel plate

Like this? If so, it shouldn't be a problem, we leave a little clearance between our skid and the cross frame the RCI bolts too and we bolt to the outer bolts.. you can see one to the left of the bolt on recovery point in this pic.

This looks awesome! Any way you can show a side view of the winch line coming out? As others have mentioned, it seems as if it would rub the hawse a lot given the angle. But regardless, I'm loving this idea.

^^^^ Agree on the concern about how much force is going against the hawse especially if pulling to an upward vector relative to the truck.

I'm also curious, to my eye it seems like the center sits a little higher. Trick of the camera angle or something else? See the red line I added to your picture from earlier.
