2016 Taco with a few Mods

Are these actual colors? Are they limited to just one package? Either choice would make me happy.

I've seen Pyrite Mica available on the 2015 in SR5 trim and TRD Sport. Is there a Spruce Mica? I know the examples are 'shopped but did he get the colors from Tacoma's pallette? I guess the 2016 may come in a green? I'd probably not choose Desert Sand

That grille is super big. I wonder if color-matching the inside black part (looks like a bit more than an inch all the way around) would make it look smaller.

 

Spruce Mica was a real 2012-2014 color. Pyrite Mica is a real color too for 2010+ (Not sure about the year range). The real Spruce Mica had a lot more gold flake than the photoshopped photo lets on. No one knows yet if it'll be available for the 2016 (I doubt it, since they took it off the rotation for 2015)

 

Can anyone Photoshop the red 2015 DCLB with a topper on it?? My ideal Taco is a magnetic grey metallic DCLB 4x4 with a topper on in. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I've been a pretty strong critic of the Gen 3 exterior design and looks, but even I have to admit they look a lot better (granted it's photo shopped) with your mods. Unfortunately it also highlights and makes it very apparent how much better looking (to me) the front exterior would have been if Toyota didn't give it an over sized out of proportion grill. Also the ugly tail lights are still there. In the end nice job OP.

 

The 4Runner or 3rd gen Taco? 4Runner TRD Pro already has the T O Y O T A lettering. The 3rd gen Taco TRD Pro will be out for MY16. Not sure if it will be a late fall release like the 2015 Pro lineup, though.

 

2016 colors are as follows...Inferno, Quicksand (beige no flake), super white, black, blazing blue pearl, silver sky, barcelona red, magnetic gray. That's all of them.

 

And you've confirmed this how?

I can't share anymore than that right now but I'm sure the color list is no huge secret.

having white carry over is obvious... mag grey is a good seller. Only one he could be fibbin about is barcelona really.

 

The colors are out there on various ordering systems. He is correct. The TRD Pro colors are out there, too.

 

Crazy how much better they look without all the chrome.

I think it's crazy that toyota didn't debut the the 3rd gen with a TRD Pro. Is the limited really the flagship of Tacomas? I know that not everyone is in love with the Pro but from what I can tell on this Forum they like it better than all of the chrome on the limited.

 

Well someone is leaking pics they shouldn't of...anyhow there are no immediate plans for a Pro truck yet but I'm sure it won't be far off.
