2016 tacoma 3rd brake light versions

I have noticed the TRD and LTD trucks have the clear/white 3rd brake lights and the SR versions are red. The clear TRD/LTD versions have a bed light integrated into the them do the SR lights also have this?

Nope. It's a TRD/Limited kind of thing.

 

My SR does not have the bed light, its just like the 2nd gens!

I have the TRD OR

I don't have bed lights.

 

My SR's 3rd brake light is clear and does have a switch for the bed light. It appears to be the exact same as the TRD/Limited version.

Maybe it's tied to the dual cab?

EDIT: Just looked at some pictures. All dual cab have the white/clear light with bed light. Access cabs have the red light. This doesn't seem to be dependent on trim.

 

The bed light is only tied to the cab configuration. Doesn't matter if it's a Limited, TRD, SR5 or SR. AC will not have the integrated bed light and all Double cabs will.
