What's even more ridiculous is using the same frames in the 2015's that are rotting out from 2005 on. I will only get rid of mine if some of the issues are fixed. Wheel bearings, frame rot, and if the new have some of the stuff other manufacturers have already had for years. Toyota just seems to be behind on some things

This photo makes it look sweet. I'm a fan of the look overall. It'll be a tough choice between this, the Canyon, and the 2017 (possibly) 4runner. I'm fine with the lower valence. It adds MPG, probably reduces wind noise, and makes the front end look beefier IMO.

Not too sure how I feel about how large the grille is. Maybe if I see one that doesn't have the chrome trim it'll look a little better. I would like to see some different trims as well since I've never really cared too much for the limited trim.

To clarify YOU have frame rot, bearing issues etc or are you just assuming you will? Why did you buy it to begin with?

How about rear disc brakes? I think I see drums back there.

Aftermarket bumpers are gonna look terrible, just like the Tundra.

I figured after my 2010 all this shit was dealt with. But no I don't have any of it yet. But living in Massachusetts where salt use is high. I was told in about 5 or 6 years the frame rot will probably happen, and I know the bearings will happen it is just a given. And there is no way I am going to be without my truck for months while some lug nut tries to put the truck back together you hope the right way. Let alone fighting with the dealership because it is lifted when it comes time for frame replacement. Not worth my time. Always had Toyota Tacoma's. Had a 1998,2001,2005,2010, and now the 2015. Just figured after 2005 and now with it being 2015 there wouldn't be the same issues for 10 years.

What I see: NO STUPID PLASTIC MUD FLAPS, and a 4X4 badge!

Also, I like the tail gate with the Tacoma name, like the new Tundra has done. But, it does NOT look like a 3rd Gen change. New headlights and tail gate are not a redesigned body!

Maybe it would look better if they didn't try to put new front and rear on the same cab. What a let down.

    Just getting started
The design of the tailgate might be stronger than the old ones. It has that lip at the top.

I bet you can just take that lower valence off, separate from everything else.

    I agree it's a 2.5 not a 3.
