Been using the same phone on my truck since last March. Past two mornings the phone isn't connected when I start driving. First stop light I Manually connect it no problem. It connected mid day yesterday automatically.

    Coincidentally both mornings cold.

Any Ideas ? will be watching this.

Push and hold the volume knob in for about 5 seconds. The radio will reboot.

Could be, but I have an AT&T Samsung S6 Active, and it has been giving me connection issues from time to time since I got my Tacoma. I find it usually happens for a few days after my phone's OS updates, or the Entune app updates. I fixed it the last time with a reboot of my phone, but it's not always that easy. I've switched to FM radio in some cases just to have something to listen to. I'm going to bring it up at my 15,000 mile service. Good luck with your issue.

Since it was cold, you didn't warm up the truck remotely or start it and go back inside did you?

Mine hasn't stayed connected for this exact reason. Two clicks and its back.

BT Audio connections on the other hand .... not as simple.

Remote starter, I have a 6MT, what's a remote starter? lol No, I park in a garage and only get out to shut my garage door. Can't speak to the OP though.

This AM I started it with phone still in the house. Then came out with phone to leave. So far not a problem this year and I started it a few mornings the same way. And old taco 2013 was no problem with same phone. Reboot sounds like its going down the right path.

I took my truck in a couple of weeks ago for the 15K and there was a radio update that they did. I didn't pay too much attention because I wasn't really having any problems but might be worth looking into. I was complaining about the Transmission issue and they might have just looked at all the TSBs? It was TSB 0103-16. Not sure if it matters, I have a TRD-OR so it is radio with all the apps and shit.
