Just joined, not even sure how to do some of this. Bought a new tacoma 4x4 and have the apparently common buzzing at around 2200 rpm. Any info/fixes out there? My dealer has no clue. How do we complain to Toyota themselves?

talked to toyota today. They are assigning a case manager who will call me tomorrow. I'll post any info I get on the subject from him.

Are you talking about the very slight hum in the accel pedal and steering wheel when you're applying throttle? I notice this in all RPMs really, like on the freeway it goes away if I take my foot off the gas, but if I put it back down to maintain speed I feel it. It doesn't bother me though. Figured it was just normal.

This 2016 tacoma is maybe the "busiest" sounding motor I've ever had. Busy all the time but very irritating as it goes through the 2000-2200 rpm range.
I'm sure some owners will just live with this. I will probably sell the truck.
