2016 Tacoma colored dash bezels

I believe color coordinated dash trim can look nice depending on color however my concern with painting is durability as paint doesn't typically adhere to plastic very well.
With this thread being a few years old, how has painting held for those who have tried it?

Was yours professional painted (thus an adhesion agent for plastic/rubber was probably added) or just a DIY spray can job?

 

Mines a year old and looks exactly the same. Had a body shop paint it with factory Toyota auto paint.

 

That looks incredible, I wish I could have super white trim but it would get filthy.
