2016 Tacoma crankshaft sensor issue

    Are you sure the instructions from the dealer are for the V6? That cable looks different (my connector is right on the sensor) and there was no removal of anything like the compressor mounting bracket as shown.

    Good eye on that halfway! Wasn't sure where that braket came from on the second page. That manual is for the I4 motor. I assumed that it was the V6 she was asking about, since we're mentioning it only affects the V6's.
    That last link I provided was for a V6 with the photos in post #199.
    I don't think the I4 engines are affected Nicole. If your truck is a V6, ignore the wasted prints the dealer provided.

    Edit: the OP seems like he has an I4 engine that matches Nicole's printout. I saw his engine oil filter part# on the 10k service and it's for the spin on filter. I don't recall the OP saying his truck was an I4 though....

    Yeah I have a v6 which was confusing the heck out of me when they gave the printouts to me.
