    @moe2o4 OEM hitch installed. Thx for the help. Next i will get the wiring harness some time this year.

    I actually never removed the caps. What i did was removed the black plastic on top of the bumper and removed the several bolts under that. Also took apart his bumper. All i installed was the hitch from his bumper. His bumper was pretty dirty and had alot of scratches on the black plastic bumper pieces and broken tabs. So i didnt have to take my left and right bumper caps off just. The hard part was getting the license plate lights out of the bumper and once everything was pulled out pulling the bumper itself the bracket was a piece of work.

    I just got a OEM hitch installed but its missing 2 reinforced brackets.
    Bracket part # 51998-04020 x2
    Bolts part # 90119-A0192 x8

    If you have those i would love to purchase them. Not sure if you reused yours or not.

    @moe2o4 im going to a junk yard and they have a tacoma with the oem 4 7 plug. Will that be compatible with the harness from etrailer. Hope this isnt a dumb question
