I've got the 16 4x4 sr5 alittle confuse about diff gear ratio. Online shows I've got 3.91 and the door seal code shows I've got another. What I'm trying to figure out is after 3" lifting and adding 32.8" tires what gears do I go with on the front and rear diff to get it back driving like stock?

You don't. You have raised your center of gravity and added to the unsprung weight along with increasing the leverage the larger diameter tires have on your brakes. Suspension, U-joints and brakes will have increased wear, road handling will be adversely effected along with resale value.

I don't think you'll be happy with 80% of this website then...

OP, I don't think you'll need to regear for 33s. I think there's a couple of 3rd gens with the exact same setup and I'm pretty sure they haven't regeared.

Edit: my bad I noticed you have an SR5. The other members I were referring to may have different gear ratios due to being TRD Offroads.

Ok yet again sorry for getting aggravated but none of these comments assists me in any way what so ever. I know! That putting a lift degrades the value and high centers it duh everyone knows that. And yes I think it needs to be re geared slightly because of the tires. Can anyone actually answer the question that I want to know? If not I'll just sit and wait and just see how many comment whores gives me endless pointless answers. Thanks again sorry for being aggravated.

It depends. Can you feel a loss of power? (downshifting more often, slower acceleration) Also, what future mods do you plan on? Heavy duty bumpers, winch, fiberglass cap etc? Towing with it? Highway driving, trails? My truck needed 4.56 gears to go back to "stock" but I have a lot of added weight and wanted a little more pep so I opted for 4.88's. It revs higher than stock on the highway but I don't need to cruise at 80mph either. Just some things to consider.

Feels like I lost low end and highway I've lost allot I cruise at 65-70 but it now will not stay in 6th gear that stupid double over drive. Not plan on putting front or rear bumpers on and maybe towing at the most a small trailer with 4 wheeler.

Find out what gears you have. If you have 3.91 then 4.56 gears would be your best bet.

Did you look at the links I gave you?

One tells you how to figure out your current gear ratio, which you asked.

The other shows you how to calculate a new gear ratio, which you asked.

Did it aggravate you that you had to do a little work to get to the final answer? :p

You have an SR5 that's available only in automatic. All automatics, regardless of trim, are 3.9 gears. All manuals get the 4.3 gears. That said, it will not take much of a tire size increase to impact the the performance of the truck.

I thought this only works if you had the stock tires on?

It's pretty simple. You type in the original tire diameter, then the new tire diameter, your original gear ratio, then click go.

Ok now that I've made up my mind on the 4.56s. Assuming my front diff is an 8"also. And for the smart assess yes I know what assuming means.... Anywho does anyone know if the nitro combo front and rear 4.56 gear set will swap out correctly. And mainly meaning for the front. I already know the rear will fit fine.
