I've been driving a 2016 ecoboost 3.5 f150. I still prefer my Tacoma for power under 2500rpm at light loads.

Interesting. I haven't driven it in the F150, but it does well in the Mustang and my friend's Edge Sport.

Not quite 1000 lbs. Remember the Fords are aluminum now. The DCLB is on par with some of the f-150 configs.

Doesn't want to make power at all if it's not in sport mode. But then in sport mode it doesn't want to shift. But I hate fords to begin with. But it's all enterprise had

Some of the F150's get into the 5500lb range when they are loaded up with options

its crap, now people are tryign to find excuse for mediocre numbers...
Somewhere around 235 HP at way over 5000 RPMs and 233 Torque 4200 RPMS.
In essence if you want to catch up to first Gen you need to be constantly on 1st or 2nd gear...
Waiting when somebody asks about ECT button ?
    :D
Hoewever, big plus for @Redbusket for posting Dyno...

I dont think I complained about my 5.7 V8 even once, Had been so far excellent motor. Tons of Torque. massive acceleration, that motor in Tacoma would be awesome. Beats any minivan engine hands down...

Nope no "but" That thing is simply awesome. That V8 delivers. and its super reliable, but that thing was build for Land Cruisers so no wonder.
