    Towing is covered with toyota care I believe. Either way they should have covered it if not.

    Us Canucks have to pay for the so-called Toyota Care.... Most who realize the unbelievable cost, just decline it. (there is no such thing as a "free oil change", etc).. But, in this case if the failure was a recall item, they should be paying it for sure...!!

    Unknown lift, maybe 2" I don't know how to ID it, and would rather set it back to stock.

    OP--everything still working/running fine here? Do you have any idea what DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) were pulled on this? Like what number codes came off of OBD 2 interrogation? Thanks.

    Please say this isn't happening. I just got rid of a 2016 Ram quad cab with 11,000 miles for stalling the same way and replaced it with the 2017 Tacoma. :annoyed:
