Hey guys I'm considering upgrading my exhaust..thinking of Magnaflow or flowmaster..any input or advice you guys have? Or any regrets or if you had to do it over again what would you get? And I know I'm not trying to make the V6 sound like a V8 cuz it's missing a couple cylinders..just wanna give it a little better sound and I don't ride stock. Thanks for any input in advance.

Just put a set of Flowmaster duels on mine yesterday first thing I felt was a better throttle response the sound is great not too loud nice rumble only time it gets a little loud is when you have the cruise at 70 and you go up a hill and it kicks down to 4th but otherwise its great also Real truck is offering a 75 dollar rebate all stainless fit is nice

    Personally I'd shoot for this.

It doesn't sound ricey, and it's built specifically for this truck. I miss my dual in/out Magnaflows on my 5.7L a lot so I've been considering this cat back system. Very minimal to no drone with what I had at regular causing speed. And MF does testing on each system to make sure you aren't loosing power and to keep the cruising sound down.

There's a few clips of some Flowmaster 40 delta flows and a Borla system I've seen on youtube. They sound decent but I like mellow but punchy with no drone myself.

Sounds great came close to getting that cause the flowmaster 40 or 44 seemed a little loud the one that comes with the flowmaster is a super 50 it sounds great just right for me but i wish i could have heard those too.

I really like the way that Flowmaster sounds over the MagnaFlow but I'm sure speakers don't compare to actual hearing it in person. Knowing me I'm gonna end up buying bothing of them and being stuck with the 1 I least love..lol.

I just don't want my truck to sound like a tractor. Lol.

I've got a pretty good system at home and the MF sounds great with the sub, haha. Doesn't work with laptop/phone speakers of course but if you've got a sub or some good headphones it helps reveal it's true sound a bit better.

What someone really needs to do though is a take off video and interior sound while driving. Those are way more helpful than someone revving up in park. The engine needs to be under load. But I imagine it will be a while before we get any of those. I'll be in the market this summer once it's warmed up and I feel like doing truck stuff again. Maybe there will be a few by then
    :fingerscrossed:

The 50 series should be similar to the MF. It's much more mellow and refined vs the 40 or 44 that are much louder and will likely drone around 2k.

I've heard the 50 series on a Tundra before and it sounded great, but it won't sound anything like the Tacoma of course. But it's not obnoxious.
