That's the choke effect warming the engine safely
The exhaust is being cooled by the engine coolant. No jump in temp should be expected

Does tour engine show the ratio between port and direct injection?

I'm not sure what other clues I could infer from the UltraGauge. There are so many variables one can see, like fuel flow related things.

Here you go,
(1) driving for 15 minutes and 15 seconds of idling, it reads 0.21-0.22 G/H.
(1b) Immediately after cold starting for 10 seconds, it reads 1.4-1.5 G/H.

(Bonus) I don't see any big "jump" in exhaust temp from varying the loads of engine, went as high as 4500 rpm on 3rd gear, and down to 6th gear cruising. I only see usual gradual increase in exhaust temp, but not jump. Don't know how to see if the engine switch from Atkinson to Otto. Maybe I have to drive more and put more load to it.

Note: manual truck, running on Shell 91 ethanol free, has 2660 miles on it. EL 860 ft, A/C off.
