We designed our own and did not test with the Warn relocation kit at all. Maybe someone else can chime in.

just finished installing my setup the other day and it added over 120 lbs to the front of my tacoma Pro. I used the warn zeon 10s. I took it out for a drive afterwards and my steering severely pulled to the right and my steering wheel was aiming to the right as well. Took the truck to toyota yesterday and they couldnt believe how far out my alignment was considering my truck only had 1070 miles on it!.. It was driving perfectly straight prior to install. Buyer beware,... Not SDHQ's fault but something to consider.

I wouldn't think that installing the mount and winch would affect alignment- Are you happy with it and how does it drive post alignment. I'm trying to decide between the SDHQ and the Southern slimline

yes everything went in fine and its well made... The alignment was affected due to the weight. Yes factory skid can be retained

It's about an additional 100 lbs, winch included? Any noticeable drop in mpg?

I already dropped with 285-75-16. But I have a zein platinum on the way- just trying to decide on mount. I think this one is lighter so maybe I'll go this way

The SDHQ mount is definitely lighter than the slimline mount.

I think I saw that your front end dropped. About 1/2 inch- what size tires are you running? I just put on 285/75/16's- with no rub- but there's also not much room-

I really don't want to trim- so we will see- hopefully I'll
Still be ok- were you trimming back side of fender liners- or into the lower part of the bumper?
You talked me into this mount- excited to get it installed!

I'm thinking I should have gone just one size up in tires- I cringe thinking about cutting IPA 45k truck. Tires area week old

i cut the front inner corners of the wheel well where the bolt goes in straight up and I had to trim in the rear too just the plastic lower corners.. A heat gun might be helpful too to warm up the inner fender liner and permanently reform some areas// sound radical but it really isnt...

I know it isn't. I been in the auto body business for a long time. I don't do a lot of wild 4 wheeling so
I may be fine. If not I think there is a 1" spacer for the front- did you consider that?
I kind of kick myself because I bought a Pro caus I didn't want to mess with it- then wimpy tires lead to bigger and
Then winch... no end.... I should have know better- I had an 07 access cab that ended
Up with 6" lift king coulovers , power steps- arb with winch and 35's.

I think I may wind up doing a 3/8" shim.. should bring me back up to factory height and not too much stress on frond end components...

There's a local 4x4 shop near me. Any metal 3/8 spacer you find online will work. Just google Tacoma 3/8 spacer
