    117°!?

Granted, I've never experienced a temperature above about 95°, but I'd think being stationary and only having the fan to push air through the radiator, the truck has an excuse to heat up a little.

It's 117 degrees outside. I'm fairly certain there's some laws of thermodynamics at work here...

Damn, you've got 90,000 miles on it already. With that much driving I'm pretty sure you could find a cooler environment to settle down in. :D

It's still in the normal range and with idling that long and the outside temperature so high it's to be expected just wondering if you have had any major problems with your taco ?

At 117 degrees and 20 minutes idling with A/C going, I'd say it was probably just a matter of heat soak. Drive thru's can be really bad because the sun could be hitting that side of the building and really heating up the surrounding air too, creating a heat pocket. If you had a bad thermostat, water pump or clutch fan....at those temps the coolant would get into the red pretty quick. Bad thermostat on my old truck, I could sit for only 2-3 minutes in 80 degree weather and see it get near the red.
