Hi, first time post. I've reviewed the detailed technical specs posted in another thread and have a question on the interior color for the limited. In the technical specs it lists Hickory as the interior color. Can anyone confirm this? At the moment that's all I've seen in photos but then again they've only been showing the one with the Blazing Blue Pearl color and just assumed it was a unique option so they were showing that one off. I really want an all black leather interior and will be really shocked if they only interior offered in the limited id the Hickory.

Yes. It's the only leather selection for the Limited.

Dealerships can do aftermarket leather for everything else. Since I wanted a long bed more than I wanted that Limited interior, I switched to a TED Sport and my dealership is helping my put together a custom leather interior worthy of Captain Ameritruck.

Bummer. I understand the ability to have the dealer customize it but I don't think it should be necessary. I prefer, like most people, to have their vehicles fairly stock. Too bad Toyota keeps making some very curious decisions on the new Tacoma. Such as a chrome grill on the TRD Sport. What?!?!

Yes, you can have all the same whistles and bells that come on the Limited added to the two TRD options, minus the factory leather. Regions and dealerships can add leather if they choose. Gulf States is all about that cow.

Beige is not an option on any 2016 model according to the PDF specs. A HICKORY (sort of brown) is available on the Limited only.

What i meant to ask is if the 37k price tag on the 4x2 limited is with or without the premium and technology package?

I think it includes it, but I'd have to double-check with a dealer inventory manager to be sure.

I was bummed about the lack of a long bed in the premium trim too. But I'm hearing you can dress out a Sport with everything but leather and get that aftermarket. That's great news. Leaves me wondering if I can get them to leave off the hood scoop.

I had my mind set on a Limited but when I found out that the leather comes in only one color (hickory tan) and the side view mirriors come in only chrome I just decided to go with a Sport DC 4x4. I can get the technology package and upgraded JBL sound system and most of the upgrades the Limited has. I can have the dealer install leather and i would have a better color selection if I let the dealer do it. I had my sights on a silver Limited but hickory tan seats will not cut it for me. I must say the Limited has the best looking wheels. Sport DC 4x4 here I come

Pretty much what I'm doing. Everything will be there excluding the leather and you'll save if you go
    somewhere and have it done.

I started to look at that route as well but it poses its own problems. If I go with a TRD Sport and option it like a Limited the sticker price is essentially the same. Then I have to add leather, swap out the front grill to the base SR5 grill, and also possibly swap out the rearview mirror for the Homelink if that is even possible. I really don't know who makes these packaging choices at Toyota but they're terrible at it. It was bad enough they kept the same overall design as the 2nd gen but I got over that and grew to accept and even somewhat like it. Now it's getting to the point where there are just too many concessions on my end and dumb choices by Toyota.

But then you get a long bed and a scoop. Keep the chrome, who cares?

Plus, you can get the dealer's leather vendor to do charcoal seats with a red, white, and blue insert and star on the headrest because CAPTAIN AMERITRUCK!

Probably. But I don't even care for the design of the TRD grills. The SR, SR5, and Limited grills look much better IMO.

First thing I will do is get a set of Wet Okole seat covers. $250 bucks, customize as you like. Pick a color, a logo, they make them the way you want them or pick up stock covers.

I think it's a shame Toyota only gives on interior color option for their top tier Tacoma, especially as it's in a rather polarizing color, at least for today's world.

Looking through the configurations the Limited would be the best option for what I want, but those seats could be a dealbreaker. Luckily I'm not currently in the market, so by the time I am, things may change. The Limited has the best looking wheels of the bunch IMHO, one of the less offensive wheels and plenty that would be easy enough to downgrade (I'm sure there would be plenty of non-forum people who'd jump at the mirrors and rear tail lamps).

<--- Dream configuration is a DCSB SR5 with a sunroof and tow package and maybe the Limited wheels with a set of BFG ATs.

Looking at the pdf, it seems premium and tech come standard in the limited. Your only option seems to be towing package. Well that and cover and mudflaps. Anyone know how much the tow package is?
