Getting 16-17 in my '17 TRD Sport 4x4. I like to spin it, though. Trying to squeeze 2 more mpg would be extremely frustrating and kill the joy of driving.

    Racks kill MPGs.

Also, are you running E10 versus E0 in NM? Instant 2mpg there.

Average 16-17 with mine. Mostly city commute. Have Bilstein 5100 lift with icon aal. 265,75,r16 ko2 on scs wheels and rock sliders to weigh me down.

Pretty much stock. 265/65/17 ko2 bros on sema wheels , e rated. Removed air dam.

Get 18 avg in city, 20.5 hwy. I do not go above 2500 rpm on hwy, otherwise the mpgs suck.

In the city i drive normal, so the mpgs are amazing for 4800 pound truck with 4.3 rear end.

I use 91 no ethanol. The only non ethanol fuel around here. Really happy with my gas mileage.

E rated is gonna pull you down also.

I have been happy offroad with SLs, but I have maybe hit about 75% of what a stock setup can do.

I made a mistake when i got my tires. I knew nothing about load ratings before i started reading tacoma world:D

When my bros wear out im def getting a lighter tire.

    What is SL?

Have a TRD OR manual. I drive 70% highway and 30% city. Nearly every tank on my truck is returning around 21.5 to 21.7 mpg (again - per tank). Truck has 14k miles on it.

My 18 TRD Off Road stays around 17-18mpgs depending on how stupid Charlotte drivers are that particular week. Its a mix of 60/40 city type driving and hwy. Last image is a shot of the costs of owning the truck for a year and driving about 20k miles.

All in all not bad for the way it gets driven.
