Has any one noticed that the 2016 tacoma oe mud flaps do not cover the entire tire so dirt still sprays on the body?

Not sure about the oe flaps,I was told they were on back order. So I put some WeatherTech no drill ones on and they seem to do good and look good also.

I don't know if any flap is going to keep your truck perfectly clean. I've found them to do a pretty good job though.

I went with aftermarket universals (Plasticolor brand) they are actually Flaps and not the harder molded "plastic" which are stiff and tend to rip off easily in offroad situations or with a lot of frozen slush build up on them by my experience. I wanted something flexible and rubbery. They mounted easily using the OEM screws. If you want the thread on this let me know and I'll try to locate it. There are plenty of pics and other users have gone with the same application. Price was cheap... like $20 after shipping.

Does the 4x4 lettering come on them or did you put the lettering on yourself?

Does not come with them, I applied them myself. You can find them on Ebay when the seller has them. Seems he runs out, gets a resupply, runs out.....

I have a street princess so mud guards or not she will never look like that. I do have the OEM's on my truck though. Hey I wonder if your tire upgrade is the reason the sides of your truck are covered in what ever that is.

Bigger more aggressive tires and 1.25" spacers don't help for keeping it clean
