I have to do the invoice calculations on the two trucks offered to me. Then see how far their offer is from it.

Remember when calculating the price that tda is not a listed item. Most dealers add this on to invoice price. Mine was $600 and some dealers charge it and some don't. My dealer wouldn't waive it as well as $900 delivery.

TDA and Delivery aka Destination fee pretty standard to pay. TDA amount depends on region but usually it is between 400 and 600. Some people here were talking big about refusing to pay TDA fee.... well OK the dealer might make you think you aren't paying it...but I promise you they worked those numbers in there somewhere in 99% of these cases.

Its ironic but the employees at the San Antonio plant have told me in the past they fire them if they are tardy and such but yet these serious issues with there vehicles coming out of that plant continue!

My first truck was a brand new 1983 Chevy step side 6cyl 3 on the tree, loved it had it for 11 years even replaced the 3 from the tree to the floor!

I bought this one in 1998 when I was 16.
it started life as a 4 speed with granny gear , then I swapped an auto into it for a year or so
Now it has a nv4500 5 speed and small block 406

It's going up a consistent 4% grade with the cruise set. And no trailer or weight in the bed

Yikes. It is trying so hard to maintain exactly the MPH you wanted with cruise. Ow. That would drive me nuts.

Not to be that guy, but this is one reason I vastly prefer MT.

In my opinion the inferno looks better in a sport and the quicksand better in a OR. Since they are both OR's I would take the quicksand!

The biggest problem with 3rd gen is that there are too many good looking colors.

Interesting. Didn't think of it like that. But now that you said that, QS in OR would be nice.

I'll second that. Seeing pics here of the silver sky color I wasn't impressed. However a few days ago I seen a TRD sport in that color and I was like wow that looks awesome. I originally was leaning towards, MGM sport, quicksand OR or inferno sport of If get one, but everytime I see another color it looks good. Seen a BBP too and that looked really good as well

Take a look at some of the pic threads. Personally I like how the black flares break up the quicksand. It almost looks funny to me on a sport now. But there are just some colors I think look better on a sport. Quicksand in sport I think looks awesome!
