There have been a few threads, and/or questions asked/posted lately in various threads, that would have been easily answered by reading the owner's manual(s) that came with the truck.

The first thing I did after buying the truck, after a decent drive, was read the manual.

I think it would benefit everyone that buys the truck to also read it, and consult back to it when potential issues/problems are identified.

The link below will take you to the Toyota website where you can find all the associated manuals for the 2016. I downloaded them as iBooks to my iPhone as well.

I probably should have left the poll out. But I just don't get how people don't read their manuals. I've seen so many questions lately that are easily answered by consulting the manual.

Slacker!! I read it about a week after it was available, long before I got my truck.

As a tech I'm constantly gettin repair orders on things people complain about that are clearly explained in the owners manual. Pairing phones is the most popular.

I feel as sales should also explain some things to customers but the average person now a days is to busy to listen and just wants to get on their way.

What the hell was I supposed to do while I waited for mine while it was being PDI'd. I decided to download the PDF and go through it.

My sales rep set everything up with me. We sat in the truck for about half an hour going over everything.
Better than my first salesman that told me the ECT button was for the outlet in the bed.
    A knowledgeable salesman is priceless!

Would be tough for the salesman to go over the whole manual, but they definitely need to hit the important parts.

    That's outstanding.
My salesman did his best, but at that point I believe I knew more than him about the truck. He did mention the truck had a nice composite bed liner!!

I have as well, although not that long before. I haven't read all of it. I've jumped to the parts I have been wondering about.

Those who honestly answered "yes" - (which I didn't), did you honestly read all of it? Cover to cover? Entune as well? C'mon.
