Letting the wires hang off of my hand? The headlamp isn’t plugged in. Not sure what you are referring to really.

Got my lights from Olathe Toyota a few weeks ago and my harness today. The harness is well made of high quality components. The install was easy using this harness. I used the two following videos as a reference for the install. Hats off to Mike!

Very thankful that I ran across this thread and the 2020 LED Megathread on TW also. I was part of the group buy last year for the second run of the Morimoto XB LED headlights run by eledoblue and was lucky enough to finally get my refund after having to dispute the purchase with my bank. (I gotta say that whole thing was SUPER shady from the start so shame on ME for doing business with that guy in the first place....all worked out good though and I hope everyone else got their money back)

Was about to pursue buying a set of the Morimotos from TRS before I caught this thread and am glad I did not as there appear to be a lot of quality issues reported just on the small number of TW users here so I would imagine that may just be the tip of the iceberg. I fully understand that the Morimotos likely outperform the OEM LED units but reliability is more important to me than performance.....seems the failure rate of Morimotos is a bit too high for my tastes.

Just emailed xrunnerdude to buy a harness and join the LED club sooner than later.

Interested, are there any other install videos that I can see before I take the dive in?

    Emailed.

I'm 3-4 weeks out from ordering, likely, so that should work great within the lead time of these lamps.

Is there a harness adapter for the 2020 SR5 trucks to install 2020 TRD OR or Pro Factory OEM LED headlights?

Right now, its just for TRD models with the led drls. Mike says hes catching up on current orders. So theres no time frame atm for SR5s. Soonest is in "a couple weeks" most likely.

X2 I like these more than the Morimotos.

For sure. The rexs follow the OEM style led strip, which I think looks stunning. Morimotos lose that.

Yeah, I hear you, that's brutal.

    I stole this quote

Great news! The Retrofit Source now has the headlight wiring harnesses in-stock! They're not on the web site yet but you can inquire and purchase them. $45 each plus shipping. Purchased mine already! ** This was for the LED TACOMA harness's. **

Maybe try them in the mean time? Not sure for the sequoia but could try?
