Just build it on the toyota website and there you go. I've been to 6 dealers and non were willing to move from MSRP because the trucks are new and in high demand. The best I got from 1 dealer was to drop shipping charges, only 850 bucks.

that's illegal. Tell them they are committing fraud and ask for invoice price, now

Can you explain? How is it fraud to sell at MSRP?

The Destination fee for a Toyota Tacoma is 900 dollars. This fee has nothing to do with MSRP. It is added on after MSRP. The destination fee must be the same for every Toyota Tacoma sold. It is a government mandate

Interesting, I did not know that. So then is the destination fee taxed? But basically the guy crossed out the destination fee value and asked if that would work for me. I'm going to guess that this was just 900 bucks off the sticker price vs me not paying the actual destination charge.

Tell him you know what the destination fee is and that he is committing fraud. Ask for another 900 off.

Also, look into Holdback. There is a link in my signature. That's money you don't even know about

Amazing isn't really the adjective i would choose for this thread but i do find it interesting to see how the value has held up over time.
