2016 Tacoma radio.

Hey does anyone know how to fix the stock radio? It was working fine this morning, but now it’s being really weird. When I’m driving it cuts in an out. Once I come to a stop it plays clearly for awhile but then stops and doesn’t have any sound. I haven’t checked the battery or fuses because I’m at work.

 

There are quite a few connection plugs in the back of the radio. One may be loose? Easy to remove. That's where I would start.

 

Have you gone over any bumps recently that may have loosened a wire harness or ground wire on the back of it. Remove the front trim / panel on the dash and 4 10 mm bolts and pull it out. If you are under warranty still, don't touch it and take it to the dealer. Get the symptommon video first if you can.

 

Ya we did some moderate trails a couple hours before. it’s not under warranty anymore, so I’ll get that a try! Thanks!
