2016+ Tacoma Raptor Lights kit

Wired up lights

 

Did you use the included taps right into the OEM wiring?

 

I just hard wired them in my kit did not come with taps

Use the fuse tap in the kit, you can use any good switched power source. PM sent

 

I have reinistalled I'll post some pics of installation

Added some waterproof connectors in the front to be able to remove grill if needed without having to unwire lights ( not included in kit)


Ran ground and attached


Ran power wire through firewall hole located behind master cylinder (must remove rubber plug first)


Attached to fuse box located under drivers side dash ( be sure to remove 15 amp fuse and add 15 amp fuse that came with kit below the 3 amp fuse if not already installed)
Lights will turn on as soon as truck is powered up


I do recommend picking up the plugs to attach in the front incase grill is ever needed to be removed. Hope this helps out with installation for everyone.

 

I've seen other people on here that have white leds and not the amber leds, do you only offer the amber on your kits? Definitely going to get one of tese!

Currently, I only offer them in Amber. If there is more interest in white we can do it at some point.

DB Customz grill I did have to use 3/4 metal spacers on the two outter mounts since my grill has a wider outter lip

 

Argh...
PITA install, you get a pile of nuts and bolts and have to figure out how this all works out.
I had to disassemble the grill to be able mount the hardware brackets.
Brackets are zinc, thought they needed to be painted.

Still aren't fully wired in, but when tested I get this, one doesn't work.

Bought the kit only to realize SR's only have two slots in the upper portion of the grill, whoops... Removed the center light and installed, install was easy and the lights work great! Awesome kit! Figured I'd post a picture if anybody is curious to see how they look on an SR/SR5 grill.

 

Can you link me to these connectors by chance? I'd love to add them inline to my lights.
