Out of what, 150k sold? That's less than 1% with complaints, or 99% without complaints.

You do realize that the 2009 Tacoma had 7-8 years of problems to show up and subsequently for people make complaints on Carcomplaints versus the 2016 which had no more than 1 year....

No, the 99% who did not make complaints are either one of two things:

1. People who legitimately don't have any complaints OR
   
2. People who have complaints but have not found the Carcomplaints website and subsequently taken the time to post there.

 

Its also possible people can register complaints just to bump numbers up over another make or model and not actually own the truck.

Take it with a grain of salt.
