    IF indeed the truck needs all that work then as far as dealer servicing that price doesn't sound outrageous (sadly.)

    There's the concern that all of that work MAY not be required.. that's why some are asking for a 2nd diagnosis.

    It sounds like you'd have a fairly steep towing bill to get that 2nd diagnosis but at this point I'm thinking it'd be worth the trouble.

    It's a difficult call for you. Maybe others will chime in.. hopefully someone close to your area with a recommendation of a Toyota shop with a spectacular experience.

    I know you stated shops are hard to come by in your area, but I'd definitely do some searching and try to get a second pair of eyes on the truck. There's gotta be a garage gear head somewhere in your area. Ultimately it's your choice to make but I'd get a second opinion. Not saying your dealer doesn't know what they're talking about but it's always nice to get a second pair of eyes....Good luck brotha
