2016 Tacoma SR5 Tire Question

Hey guys. I just got my 2016 Tacoma SR5 and have a tire question. My truck is stock and 2 wheel drive.

I currently have Toyo Open Country A31 245/75R16 tires. I'm thinking about buying 17" wheels that have Toyo Open Country A30 265/65R17 tires.

Does anybody see any problems with that change? Impact on gas mileage? Odometer? Rubbing? Any type of lift modification needed? Quality of ride? etc.

Basically, just want to know if I can take old off and slap new ones on and go on down the road as before.

This will answer most of your questions. You also won't rub, no need to lift yours. I also have a 16' and went with 265/70/17 KO2's with no issues.
