A lot of times the poor mileage depends on how the Truck is driven, When are where it is driven, like rush hour traffic. And I see a lot of people start there vehicles and let it warm up for 20-30 minutes, that wastes fuel. ⛽️

Agreed here. Racing from light to light isn't gonna get the EPA estimated milage.

Not saying this is OP's problem and I hope he truly took it to the dealer and raised hell, but just my .02....

True, but then again there are reasons we have for not owning a 3rd Gen....

I don't think he CAN race from light to light....seems it would "stall" if he tried that... LOL

I he races in a straight line he should be fine. If he turns then he stalls.

In the aviation world, could be termed as an incipient stall...sorta

I do that... specially when those pesky little F-150s wanna drag race! I have a heavy foot and still get 15+ mpgs... I can beat you in the 1/4 mile... I think my time is around 8 minutes! hahahaha

No, I'm just doing my research and compiling a list of things I'll have to fix once I do buy a 3rd Gen a few years from now. We all know Toyota sure isn't going to fix them, especially the outstanding problems that have been with around since the 2nd gen... :crapstorm:

Guessing you failed to read where I mentioned about a thread catching my eye on the home screen of TW. Or, you cherry picked a few of my comments to make a point. Either way, it's a weak point. One doesn't have to frequent the 3rd gen section to hear about the issues from the 3rd gen. There are enough threads in other topics where people mention them, plus talking to people in person that have 3rd gens with said problems. There is a world outside TW. I'd recommend you step away from the keyboard, and "frequent" that from time to time.

I'll revert back to my childish behavior comment.

$35k for a truck that can't even engage 4Lo, or then gets stuck in 4Lo. Sound familiar? You made a thread asking for advice and seemed pretty obvious that the solution would be to take it to the dealer, you know, since you have a 36k warranty and deserve service. Yet you posted a thread asking for advice, just like this OP. I fail to see the difference. Seems you fixed it yourself though by personally changing the fluid. Guessing your man card didn't work, or you didn't even take your keys out of your "murse" and drive to the dealer to "demand proper service".

    "You mad bro??"
You sound like a 15 y/o kid with that statement. I'm hoping that's the case, and you're not some 40 y/o trying to relive your youth.

@SpeedoJosh likes this, that is all I need to know- like it didn't troll the 3rd gen forum, lol:rofl:
And @SpeedoJosh did his research, based on calling out other members about past posts- one of us does need to get outside more, and I know who it is- again, lol:rofl:
