2016 Tacoma transmission problem

I picked up my 2016 4x4 sport taco in March 2016. Have about 5000 miles on it. I notice each morning when backing out of my garage and pulling down a declined gravel driveway that when I level out at the bottom and apply the gas petal that it takes a while for the tranny to kick in. I told the dealer the problem at my 5000 check up. They said there was some bulletins out on this and they said they had made adjustments. The problem still exist. Does anyone know anything about this?

Service report says they reprogramed ecm as per tsbt-sb-0077-16.

Fluid level?

 

OP - this issue has been an issue since Sept 2015.

I think part of the TSB should have been to re-set the learning for the transmission ECM... maybe they "forgot" and or "forgot" to check your transmission fluid level.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I have read through the many conversations. The 5000 mile service said they checked the fluid levels. I also had the tsbt-sb-0077-16 ecm reprogram done. My problem still exist. What should my next step be?

 

Wait it out for the next update, or let Toyota start replacing stuff needlessly until they've rectified the problem...or trade it in for a loss on something else.

Thats the problem .
If I had to bet , you are low on fluid
I wouldn't trust them at all Dont take their word . We have seen this multiple times throughout many posts.
Find a dealer who isn't going to lie to you and checks the fluid properly

 

Update: I was just at the dealership yesterday(3-20-2017), and there is another update for our tranny;s. It does seen better but the final verdict is still out!

I know about revision 1 .
When I hear about a new TSB , I want to see the updated TSB number in order to add it to the write up . When a member says there may be a new revision , I immediately think revision # 2
Correct me if I am incorrect please .
I do not own a 16 Tacoma , but I do the write ups for the transmission updates .
