    Yeah this shouldn't be happening at all bud. I've got 175k on my stock clutch in my 16 and I've been very harsh on mine, got it hot multiple times. My clutch still feels as good as it did day one.
    I did the adm mod at like 130k and wish I did it sooner. Have you ever changed a clutch on your own before?

    Clutches are wear items and are rarely ever covered outside the initial bumper to bumper warranty. A good rule of thumb on powertrain is anything that fluid touches, and thats not even entirely accurate.

    $3500 for clutch and flywheel job? What the actual fuck? I just bought a new clutch, pressure plate, oem flywheel (I live very remote with no machine shops), throw out bearing, new bolts etc.. 1400. How are they charging 2100 of labor for this shit?
    Edit: real reason I'm awakening this old thread was I smoked my clutch a couple times, and only had 55k but my throw out has been chirping for like 16k. My flywheel after those few burnups was totally burnt in spots. We'll see how it all goes back together
